BODY RECOVERED FROM LUCEA BEACH 2 MONTHS AGO WAS THAT OF SEYMOUR SAMUELS RETURNING RESIDENT

A body that was fished from the sea behind the Lucea bus park in Hanover on October 27th is said to be that of returning resident Seymour Samuels. Mr Samuels went missing on October 25th and the body was recovered two days after he was reported missing.

It took the security forces 44 days to inform the family that they had, in fact, removed a body fitting the description from the sea. Samuels’ family has been making public appeals to find him to no avail since he disappeared few days shy of 2 months ago. Pictures of Mr. Samuels have been plastered all over public spaces including police stations and hospitals in Westmoreland and Hanover where Mr. Samuels had been staying since he returned from the United Kingdom  and New York where he had called home  for more than

40 years.
